Once we understand what's going on, we'll explain it clearly and walk you through what can be repaired, what may need to be replaced, and what your options are. Our goal is to help you make the most informed decisions possible.

One of the most common surprises we uncover is what's hidden beneath the surface. In many cases, we find older siding that was simply covered over instead of properly removed, sometimes in multiple layers – we've seen as many as four layers underneath! That can affect everything from how windows were installed to how well your home's been insulated. Once materials are opened up, issues like improper framing, missing insulation, or poorly handled window openings can come to light. When that happens, we stop, explain what we've found, and walk you through the right way to address it without guesswork or shortcuts.

As you might imagine, not all issues are the same. Sometimes we uncover something hidden inside a wall. Other times, an issue may relate to previous work or another trade. Because we've been doing this for a long time, we can usually anticipate what we're going to find and account for it upfront. That's why change orders are uncommon with NIB (unless you want to change something). Most situations are handled as part of the original scope, without added cost. If something truly falls outside that scope, we explain it clearly before any decisions are made.

Weather delays don't happen with us because we plan around them. We don't start exterior projects during times of year when rain, snow, or freezing conditions could compromise your home. When cold-weather work is appropriate, we use job-site heaters and protective measures to keep work on track. And if conditions truly aren't right, we adjust the schedule rather than forcing progress at the expense of quality.
